DESIGN

I have design experience in a wide range of project types. My personal passions are finding the inherent language of each architectural approach, sustainable and passive designs, materials, volumetric interactions, natural light, and site opportunities. I enjoy the care and passion in custom single family residential, and designing on a larger physical scale for a large amount of people in multifamily apartments and clubhouses. I have also developed designs for commercial facade renovations, commercial tenant improvement of show kitchens including interior redesign, offices, coffee shops, public installations, ADU’s and other interesting planning opportunities like mini-lot splits and communal sharing of lots. Client involvement in design has been a creative experience for me as I navigate their unique program requirements. I love the moment when clients tell you you have exceeded their expectations.

PROJECT MANAGEMENT

I have participated in team management and overall office profit strategies. I am comfortable with regular consultant inquiries. Adept at motivating project teams and creating a collaborative environment where strengths are recognized and used. I have managed many projects from SD-CA phases. Experienced with time management, capable of organizing work for others. Managed team of fifty students in solar competition.

CODE COMPLIANCE &
TECHNICAL DRAWING

Successfully permitted projects in eight Bay Area municipalities. Strategized permit submittals for code driven multi-phase projects. Comfortable with researching unfamiliar codes. Versed in the processes of generating and organizing drawings for schematic, preliminary pricing, planning, bid, permit, and construction sets. Coordinated drawings with specifications, consultants, and contractors. Currently pursuing AIA licensure as a registered Architect.

I am proud to say I have had a lot of repeat clients and client referals. I have attending networking events and built client relationships. I have reviewed and wrote client contracts and proposals. I have experience in creating an Interiors Studio for an architectural firm and landing our first high profile client.
